ICC’s meeting with Bangladesh Delegates


















Today 30th Nov, 2010 I met with the honorable members of the Panel of Delegation of Bangladesh. I met with Mr. Mihir Kanti Mojumder, Secretary of the Ministry of Forestry & Environment, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. I also met the joint Secretary, Senior Assistant Secretary of Bangladesh. I talked with them for a long time. Professor Dr. Aynun Nishat, Vice Chancellor, Brac University was also with there. And so many other delegates from Bangladesh Team was there. I talked with them, introduced me amd informed them about our climate generation project of British Council. They are very much interested to know about our projects and also happy to British Council for giving us this golden opportunity to see a huge event like COP 16.

Ana from the British Council, Mexico also talked with our Secretary and Prof. Dr. Aynun Nishat. She asked about our countrie’s strategy in COP 16. They answered her very well. They said that they were expecting to have some financial benefits as an agreement here. But they are not expecting any legally binding agreement this time.

Ana & I requested them to have a meeting with all the Champions of British Council from different countries. They agreed with our proposal. Hopefully we will meet them on 8th Dec after the side event of Bangladesh.
